Alice Braga

Alice Braga has worked in numerous Brazilian as well as American movies and TV shows. Coming from a family of actor, it's natural for her to join the industry at a very young age. In her early years she appeared in an advertisement. Later, she received critical praise for her part in the 2002 Brazilian crime thriller 'City of God. She received several international accolades for her work in the Brazilian drama movie 'Lower City.' Braga was next seen in the English language film "Journey to the end of the night" (2006). Her international fame was boosted by playing opposite Will Smith in the American post-apocalyptic sci-fi horror film 'I Am Legend' (2007). Her roles have been in various Hollywood movies since, including "Repo Men" (2010), "Predators" (2010), "The Rite" (2011), and the upcoming 'Elysium 2013'. She is currently playing the lead part in the role of Teresa Mendoza in the American drama series of crime 'Queens of the South'.
