Annette Funicello, an American performer and actress. The most well-known part of her career was "one of the very first Mouseketeers" from The Mickey Mouse Club. When she was a teenager she began her singing career. The singer became famous for songs like 'Tall Paul 'and 'Pineapple Princess. Annette was an introverted child born in Utica with Italian immigrants. In her quest to achieve success in her career as an entertainer her first step was acting and dancing. The mid-1950s saw her gain a significant amount of recognition due to her roles on "Disney" sketch shows. Annette was able to let go of her 'Disney" persona she cultivated as a young person and embark many different adult character. Being one of the first performers, Annette was credited for introducing the "beach" style of party. She appeared in films such as "How to stuff a wild bikini and 'Pajama Parties' and 'Beach Parties.' Her albums with music came out periodically. Annette was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1992. She passed away due to this disease in the year 2013.
