Bill Self, a popular and wealthy basketball coach, was born in Oklahoma, Oklahoma on the 27th day of December 1962. In December 2023 Bill is of around $10 million. Bill was director of the team at Kansas in 2013. He became the assistant coach for the young star Andrew Wiggins. Self continued to coach the team for three years (1998-2000) in Tulsa at which time he put up a Tulsa record of 74-27. In his time at TU Self coached the Golden Hurricane to two consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances in 1999 and 2000. Self played as the head coach for The Golden Hurricane in 1999-2000, and helped them reach their first Elite Eight. Self was given basketball college scholarship in order to attend Oklahoma State University. For the entire time he was playing as an honor roll student. He earned a bachelor's degree in business in 1985, and then a master's degree in sports administration in 1989 at Oklahoma State. Bill Self is among the highest-paid basketball players in the United States. Bill Self is worth 10 Million dollars according to Forbes and Business Insider. Self became the basketball head coach at Illinois on June 20, 2000. Self's mentor Lon Kruger left Illinois in order to accept a job as head coach for the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA.
