Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri is an Indian actress who has gained notoriety for her roles in the films Hum Aapke Haiin Koun and Beta Saajan. In the 80s when she started her acting career, and was well-known for the character Tezaab which she played alongside the veteran actor Anil Kapooor. In the following film, she was a part of Aamir in Dil. In Mumbai the city she was born within a middle class family parents. At a very young age, she started to study dance. She ventured into acting as an infant and was struggling through a couple of years since the majority of her first films were flops. Then, she discovered success in Indian filmmaking and rose to the top. After her marriage, she took a hiatus in her professional career. Later, she returned. Recenty, she had an important part as a character in Gulaab Gang. The film was about struggles faced by women across India. Dixit was nominated fifteen times for Filmfare Awards. She won 8 of these. Padma Shri is the fourth highest civilian honor in India. Her name is well-known for her work in the field of social service as well.
